YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT RING PIERCINGS
WHY NOT PUT A RING PIERCING AS THE FIRST PLACEMENT
A ring piercing should not be inserted until the piercing is completely healed, as the ring rotates and could tear the healing flesh. The healing process then has to start all over again, and this process is significantly slowed down.
ARE YOUR RINGS EASY TO REMOVE?
Our piercing rings use the Clikers system; you just have to gently pull the bar of the piercing so that it opens immediately. The same goes for putting it on; you just have to slide it into your helix , conch, lobe or tragus ear hole!
WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE FOR YOUR PIERCINGS?
At Bélizé Bijoux, we use two types of materials for piercings: 316L surgical steel for its value for money as well as its good resistance to corrosion and durability, as well as F136 Titanium, perfect for very sensitive skin and can be used as a prosthesis during a first installation!
What size should I choose for my ring piercing?
There are several factors to consider: the location of your piercing on the ear and your ear shape. For example, for a helix piercing, an 8mm ring is recommended , for a conch piercing, 10 or 12 mm , and for a rook or tragus piercing, a 6 mm ring will be recommended.
Please note, we always advise you to measure the distance between your piercing hole and the edge of your cartilage to get the best possible result ! (allow 1 mm margin)
